Service Node Addition license |
Service Node Addition Extension Module is available to be purchased in SuperMap iServer 11i(2022) advanced, professional, advanced(core-based), professional(core-based) editions . An iServer configured the Service Node Addition license can inherit licenses from other advanced or professional iServer, that is the master node, so that it has the same licenses and permissions as the master node, thereby reducing purchase costs.
Download and install the product package. For installation process, see: Windows, Linux, AIX.
After the installation, start iServer service, enter http://<server>:<port>/iserver in the browser to start to configure iServer. According to the wizard, create an administrator account, then wait the system to finish the environment checking process, then on the "Check License" page, select "SuperMap iServer Service Node Addition", enter the service address of the master node, such as: http://192.168.17.179:8090/iserver, then click Next.
If you can successfully access the SuperMap iServer home page, it means the service node is set successfully.
Note: If the console prompts "The master node license is empty, can't continue to use" or the page shows "No license detected", it means the master node service address is wrong or the network is disconnected. You should first check the network to ensure the failure is not caused by network failure. If it still fails, it means the master node service address is wrong, you should enter %SuperMap iServer_HOME%\webapps\iserver\WEB-INF, open iserver-system.xml, correct the master node service address in <masterServerAddress> node, then restart iServer.
After the connection is successful, the service node will automatically detect the license status of the master node after 1 hour for the first time. If the license of the master node changes, the service node license will be automatically synchronized. The detection operation will be executed every three hours thereafter.
